Weatherstrip Hatches and Doors
Once you’ve sealed the attic bypasses, use a broom handle or stick to gently push the insulation back into place as you make your way out. To complete the job, seal the attic access hatch using self-adhesive foam weatherstripping. You might need to attach new wooden stops around the hatch opening to create a better surface for the weatherstrip and to allow enough space for hook-and-eye latches. Install the screw eyes so that the weatherstrip is slightly compressed when the hatch is latched. The same approach applies if your attic has a hinged access door.

Update the Bathroom
If you’re aiming for a home improvement project with a strong return on investment, a minor bathroom remodel is a smart choice. Refresh the vanity with a new finish or replacement, swap out the toilet and faucet if they’re outdated, upgrade the shower head for improved comfort, and re-caulk the tub to give the space a clean, polished look.
