While ironing, much of the heat from the iron gets absorbed by the board, often making you go over the same spot multiple times to eliminate wrinkles. To make the process faster, place a sheet of aluminum foil beneath the ironing board cover. The foil reflects heat back into the fabric, helping to remove wrinkles more efficiently.
