My kitchen drawers used to be a mess: pots and pans crammed everywhere there was space. Whenever I looked for something, it always seemed to be buried at the bottom. To remedy this, I cut a piece of 3 mm (1/8 inch) pegboard to fit the base of the drawer and attached dowels underneath with screws. Now everything stays securely in place and is easy to grip. The few minutes of assembly were more than worth the hassle. — Jim David
